If on life's journey your troubles and challanges are the mountains you climb, you know that mountains peak and there is a slope down and possibly a plain.
Climb only the mountain in front of you at the moment...not all the ones to come...the terrain may be different on the other side, so why carry the extra load of your anticipatory worry!
BUT...do remember the peaks you have climbed. Remember the challanges you have met and overcome. Remember the lessons you have learnt. Remembering can build confidence in you ability to meet present and future challanges.
As a wise young lady said to me, "The workouts don't get easier, but you gett better at it and fitter".
